At Sundog Clothesline Co., we believe that all households can lessen their ecological footprint by reducing their dependence on natural gas and electric dryers, and we want to assist folks in making this changeover as easy and economical as possible. Clotheslines not only offer zero-carbon-emission drying, but also save you money. Using a clothesline lowers your household energy bill, and is gentle on your clothes. They last longer and smell fresher!

As part of Sundog's belief in finding more sustainable options, our company offers quality products that are meant to last a long time. Along with durability, we also ensure that our products are easy to operate, because we want clotheslines to be a regular part of your laundry routine.

Some people say that we don’t live in the right climate for clotheslines. Not true! If it’s rainy out, an indoor clothesline will work just fine. And even in our cooler months, a sunny day (especially with a bit of wind) can do the job outside. Even if we can’t hang out our clothes every day, just reducing our gas and electric drying by 50% will translate into impressive savings in both money and carbon emissions.

Changing habits can be hard sometimes, and so can setting up a clothesline system that works for you. Good intentions go nowhere if a clothesline never gets put up! That’s why we offer optional installation for all Sundog products to customers that live within our service region. What’s a sundog?

A sundog is an optical phenomenon, created when beams of sunlight refract as they pass through tiny ice crystals. Similar to a rainbow, this refraction releases a beautiful spectrum of colours, most often appearing as one or two spots glowing on either side of the sun. And our friendly mascot is also a sundog.
