Currently there are no restrictions against the installation of clotheslines in the lower mainland. If you are a renter or an owner in a strata corporation however, there may be bylaws or restrictions as to the type and location of clotheslines you are allowed. To avoid the disappointment of having to dismantle your new clothesline because of some such infraction, we advise you to contact the bylaw office in your municipality or the management company representing your strata corporation.
